"The Beatles: Get Back" is a three-part documentary series directed by three-time Oscar® winner Peter Jackson ("The Lord of the Rings" trilogy, "They Shall Not Grow Old"), offering an intimate look at the band's recording sessions during a pivotal moment in music history. The series showcases the warmth, camaraderie, and creative genius of the legendary quartet, compiled from over 60 hours of never-before-seen footage shot by Michael Lindsay-Hogg in January 1969 and more than 150 hours of unheard audio, all brilliantly restored. Jackson is the only person to have accessed these private film archives in 50 years. "The Beatles: Get Back" tells the story of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr as they prepare for their first live concert in over two years and create 14 new songs, originally intended for a live album. The documentary includes the Beatles' final live performance as a group, the unforgettable rooftop concert in London, as well as other classic songs from their two final albums, "Abbey Road" and "Let It Be".
