57min - We open on a Dutch man, Bram, in a convenience store stocking up on snacks. We follow him back to his house where we see, hanging in the hallway, a decorative piece of fabric, which Bram moves aside to reveal a hidden door with two padlocks. He unlocks the door, goes inside, and locks the door behind him. We hear him walk down the stairs, then see a glow of light from under the door, and we wonder what Bram is up to. Back in his hotel, Edward is with Constantin, who is armed with a chainsaw and demanding the return of his cash. Edward pleads for his life and begs for more time. Constantin reluctantly agrees, but warns Edward he has 24 hours or he will end up like his decapitated father. Meanwhile, Julien is with Martha, reeling from the news that Niels is his son. Martha explains that she loved Julien and she was devastated when he left her all those years ago, but by the time she had met her husband, Stefan, she was already pregnant with Julien’s child. Julien feels hurt at the betrayal and implores Martha to tell Niels the truth, but Martha begs him not to, and Julien agrees to keep it a secret. Kim is confessing some secrets of her own. Now that Constantin’s threat is real, she decides to tell Greg the truth about her past life as Dragomir Zelincu. She explains that she always felt she was born into the wrong body, hoping Greg might understand the pain she’s been through. However, Greg is sickened at the deception and he storms off, leaving Kim utterly devastated. Meanwhile, Genevieve is visiting Lucas in the care home, when a woman of similar age, Ines, turns up and accuses her of destroying Lucas’ life. Upset and fueled with anger, Genevieve contacts Edward and demands that they meet. She wants Edward to wear a wire to try and incriminate Constantin for the murder of Edward’s father. Edward protests, but this time Genevieve doesn’t give Edward a choice and they prepare to meet Constantin. Julien and Niels are on the hunt for Matty’s grandfather, Herman de Boer, in the hope he will lead them to the stolen cash. Julien uses this opportunity to get to know his son. When they arrive at Herman’s farm he admits that he took Matty from the hospital, and that Natalie left the cash for him buried in his tulip farm, although he no longer has it. He thinks his window cleaner, Bram Visser, may have stolen it. Back in Amsterdam, Edward’s meeting with Constantin doesn’t go according to plan. Things get heated when Constantin pulls out a knife, and Edward is forced to tell him he’s wearing a wire and working for Europol. Constantin hands him a phone and tells him he will call it. Genevieve is furious at Edward for screwing it up and orders him to stay in a hotel room under police protection until they can organize another meeting.
