Michael is for seven years the experienced and successful head chef of beef restaurant Værk. He suddenly has to defend his position, as new deputy chef Naja wants to modernize his restaurant. Naja comes with a completely different view of what constitutes a timely view of leadership, equality, communication, interior decoration - and environmental concerns. Conflict between them is imminent. However, even graver trouble lies ahead, as manager Vibeke is pulling some strings.
