Asfur is a heartwarming and hilarious Israeli comedy-drama series that follows the adventures of four friends living on a bus farm inherited from their late grandfather. When they learn that the farm is in danger of being repossessed, they embark on a series of wild and wacky schemes to raise the money to save it, including running a taxi service, laundering lottery winnings through the black market, stealing from houses, and even committing armed robbery. Along the way, they also navigate their complicated romantic relationships, including an on-and-off romance between Motti, the leader of the group, and Shir, a lawyer who is also involved with Amit, Motti's rival for both Shir's heart and the bus farm.
