Appare-Ranman!

In the late 19th century, two unlikely allies - the brilliant but socially awkward engineer Sorano Appare and the wise yet cowardly samurai Isshiki Kosame - find themselves stranded in the middle of the ocean. With no money and no way to get home, they decide to participate in the Trans-America Wild Race, a brutal competition that spans from Los Angeles to New York. Equipped with their self-built steam-powered car, they must face off against ruthless rivals, bandits, and Mother Nature herself in a race to the finish line. Will they emerge victorious and claim the prize money that will allow them to return home?
