In the rolling hills of 1950s rural Ireland, a strict and domineering father, Moran, rules over his family with an iron fist. His daughters struggle to break free from his suffocating grasp and forge their own paths in life, amidst a backdrop of traditional values and societal expectations. As they grow older and become increasingly aware of their own desires and dreams, they must confront the harsh realities of their father's tyranny and ultimately decide whether to conform to or rebel against his oppressive rule.
