In the midst of World War II, a young Frenchman named Alain must confront his own beliefs and loyalties when he joins the Resistance movement to fight against the Nazi occupation of France. As he battles alongside his comrades, Alain must also confront the harsh realities of war and the sacrifices that must be made for the greater good. Based on the true story of Daniel Cordier, a member of the French Resistance and close friend of Resistance leader Jean Moulin, this series takes a powerful and personal look at the struggles of those who fought for freedom and justice in the face of overwhelming oppression.
