"A Trick of Fate" is a sweeping romance that unfolds in the lush countryside of Brazil in the 1930s and 1940s. The story follows Davi, an illusionist who has spent a decade in prison for a crime he didn't commit, and Isadora, the younger sister of his deceased love.
