In the tight-knit Orthodox community of Bnei Brak, two families' lives intertwine in a story of forbidden love and hidden secrets. The Bermans, a devout family, are preparing for their daughter's arranged marriage, but their plans are disrupted by the arrival of a secular Russian family, the Mintzes.
