Apparently going against the stream, but: really..? Weird and inconsistent (I uually enjoy at least the weird). If Driver had not been in this, it would have been a solid 2 from me. To me, any public kudos are due to "The emperors new clothes...
When it's good it's bloody brilliant, and I would never want it unwatched, but it doesn't deliver on its initial promise (the first half hour or so I seriously thought I was watching my next favorite movie) and overstays its welcome...
Funny and classic Baumbach in first half but the rest is one big mess.
...the strength of the source material (and indeed Baumbach’s execution) make White Noise one of the better examples of ‘pandemic art’ to emerge from this perilous time in history.
