Don't listen to all the negative reviews. This is great.
This is much better than expected, honours the Tolkien legacy. Story, actors, scenography, all is awesome. If you are a fantasy fan of course.

The story and the writing has issues but it takes the audience to a beloved universe and that’s made beautifully.

Actually a great series. I’d like a bit more coloured people, though - just to piss of the racists.

Cinematography is beautiful, the cast is sublime, this exceeds all expectations.

I love this series so far. Awesome atmosphere and the actors are great. Can really recommend this masterpiece.

better than i expected. It's pointless to compare the book and the movies, a bit like expecting Star Trek to always be the same. Excellent entertainment

Much better than expected, wonderful scenography, good actors, good story, good effects, good music and of course it doesn't precisely Tolkiens book but still honor his legacy in its own way
