Ritchie has made an entertaining return to his mockney roots.
Read full review at The Guardian...[Hugh Grant] gives an extraordinary performance, considering the circumstances.
Read full review at Roger Ebert...slick, silly fun — a giddy exercise in freewheeling nihilism, played to the hilt.

Read full review at EmpireThis being a Guy Ritchie joint, there’s two smoking barrels worth of swearing (it might well set a world record for c-bombs in a movie) and plenty of blood splatter.

Ritchie’s always a safe courier of good old fashioned and unbinding entertainment served up in fabulous stylistic exuberance. The Gentlemen are no exception.
A very entertaining and exciting film, it keeps the attention span high to the last and it is full of twists and turns. Without considering the stellar cast present. It might be one of the best films I have seen recently.
Classic Guy Ritchie with an outstanding Hugh Grant and solid Colin Farrel in there as well. Worth a watch, there's a few gotchas in it, so probably wouldn't watch it again though.

Amazing way of setting up a film experience! Great acting and plot. Great camera work. Amazing story played out exceptionally 🎥👏👌😍🎭😎
the narration technique on the movie adds the flavor to a well played typical British Gangster movie.
Great movie with fantastic actors/characters, and a classic Guy Richie script!
...has a clever concept, snappy dialogue, creative characters, and stupendous style.
