There’s nothing wrong with adapting a comic for a younger audience...

...a hugely fun sci-fi caper that’s like an all-female Stranger Things.

While this comic-based series will no doubt garner comparisons to Stranger Things, it's got its very own retro adventure vibe that sets it apart from anything else on TV.

It is a story about family, perseverance, confronting our insecurities, and embracing what makes each person different all in the middle of an at times overly ambitious story of time travel.

It takes place in a world where young girls are the heroes of their own stories, which might as well be science fiction.

...works best as a character study of four feisty, engaging 12-year-old girls who navigate a string of unimaginable adventures when they’re thrust into a future time war.

...thanks to its strong writing, excellent performances, and engaging characters, Paper Girls really delivers.

I can’t wait for the next instalment of this consummately-made, top quality genre drama.
