Yorimatã tells the story of two Brazilian women, Luhli and Lucina, who defied convention and pursued their passion for music during the 1970s hippie movement. Experimenting with instruments and sounds, they pioneered the Brazilian independent music scene. Their lives were captured on 8mm film by their husband, photographer Luiz Fernando Borges da Fonseca. Through their music and personal journey, Yorimatã paints a vivid portrait of freedom, creativity, and the power of self-expression.
