Traditional girl Pie is initially uncomfortable with her tomboyish new roommate Kim, but as time goes on, she finds herself increasingly attracted to her. As their friendship develops, Pie and Kim begin to wonder if their feelings for each other are just ordinary friendship or true love. Despite their differences, they find themselves drawn to each other, but their relationship is put to the test when Pie's mother and Kim's jealous ex-girlfriend Jane try to tear them apart.
