Yellow Cat tells the story of Kermek, a former convict, and his beloved Eva, who yearn to leave their crime-ridden lives on the Kazakh steppes behind. Kermek's dream is to build a movie theater in the mountains, but their past comes back to haunt them in the form of Zhambas, a ruthless mafia boss. As Kermek's love for Alain Delon becomes a source of strength, the couple must confront the violent clutches of the mafia to achieve their dream of a peaceful life.
