Wild Flower

In the documentary "Wild Flower," we follow the story of Lule Bib Luka, one of the last remaining burrnesha of Albania - a tradition in which women take on a male role and reject a conventional women's life. Now in her seventies and with her family either deceased or gone, Lule decides to leave her homeland and move to the city. This poignant film captures the struggles of tradition in the face of modernity, as Lule grapples with the loss of her way of life.
