In "Whiteblood," a young man named Rico must confront his dark past when his mother falls ill with cancer. After escaping their dangerous lives in the drug world, Rico and his mother thought they had found a fresh start. But now, Rico must return to the underworld he thought he'd left behind to raise the money needed for his mother's treatment. With time running out and danger lurking at every turn, Rico must summon all his strength and cunning to save his mother's life. Will he be able to overcome the odds and save her, or will he succumb to the very world he's trying to escape?
