Where God Left His Shoes

When a struggling boxer and his family are evicted from their New York City apartment, they find themselves forced to live in a homeless shelter. On Christmas Eve, they learn of an available apartment in the Bronx, but the social worker requires Frank to have a job "on the books" in order to qualify. With only a few hours left in the day, Frank and his stepson Justin embark on a desperate search for employment, discovering secrets about each other along the way. Despite their efforts, time runs out and they fail to secure a job. In a last-ditch attempt, Frank retrieves his stolen jacket and in the process, gets into a fight, resulting in the family being kicked out of the shelter. With no other options, they head to Brooklyn, hoping to find a new home and a brighter future.
