In a small Indian village, an educated man named Mahadev uses his writing skills to help the illiterate residents communicate with their loved ones. But as he becomes more involved in their lives, Mahadev realizes that his words have the power to change their fortunes. Through his letters, he helps a young woman named Kamla win her husband's love, a eunuch named Munni become a successful politician, and a couple named Ram Kumar and Shobha Rani find love despite societal opposition. But as Mahadev's influence grows, he learns that the power of words can also lead to unexpected consequences. Will he be able to create happy endings for all those who have come to rely on him, or will his words ultimately lead to heartbreak?
