In the heart of Germany's Black Forest during World War II, a US Army plane carrying top-secret material plummets to the ground, leaving a trail of mysterious occurrences in its wake. A group of elite soldiers, led by the steadfast Sergeant Brewer and the enigmatic Walsh, are dispatched on a rescue mission to retrieve the plane's cargo and quell any potential threats. As they venture deeper into the forest, they encounter hanged Nazi soldiers and ancient, magical symbols etched into the trees. But their compasses fail them, their perceptions twist, and straying from the group leads to unspeakable horrors. The soldiers soon realize that they are not only fighting against the enemy, but also against a supernatural force that seems to be guiding them towards an unspeakable fate. Will they be able to complete their mission and escape the forest alive, or will they succumb to the evil that lurks within?
