"Veterán" follows the story of Martin, a former soldier who returns to his hometown in the Czech Republic after 20 years in the French Foreign Legion. He must come to terms with the loss of his mother and navigate complex human relationships, including a new love interest, Sara, the daughter of a powerful local politician. As Martin tries to find his place in the world, his past comes back to haunt him, threatening to destroy the happiness he has found. The film explores themes of guilt, forgiveness, and second chances, set against the backdrop of a small town in the Czech Republic.
