What is Veronica about? 
In 1991 Madrid, a 15-year-old girl named Verónica is left in charge of her three younger siblings after their mother works long hours at a bar. On the day of a solar eclipse, Verónica and her friends conduct a séance using a Ouija board in the school basement, attempting to reach out to their late loved ones. However, the séance goes horribly wrong, attaching a dark spirit to Verónica that begins to terrorize her and her siblings. As paranormal occurrences escalate and her friends avoid her, Verónica turns to an elderly blind nun for help but ultimately realizes that she herself has been possessed by the demon throughout. Based on true events described in Spain's first police report of paranormal activity witnessed by an officer.
