Verona

In the antebellum South, a young woman is torn between her duty to her family and her desire for love and freedom. Born into slavery, she is forbidden from loving anyone, but her heart has other plans. Amidst the struggle for freedom and equality, she must choose between her loyalty to her oppressors and her longing for a life of her own. Will she find a way to escape the chains that bind her or will she remain trapped in a life she never chose?
