What is Vamps about? Toggle content

In Manhattan, two vampires, Goody and Stacy, share an apartment and live a carefree life. Goody was turned into a vampire in 1840, while Stacy was turned in the 90s. They work and study at night, drinking mouse blood and refusing human blood. At a vampire meeting Goody discovers that if Ciccerus their maker is killed, they would revert to being human. Goody meets her ex-boyfriend Danny who she hasn't seen since the '60s and reconnects with him under the pretense that she is Goody 's daughter. Meanwhile, Stacy falls in love with Joey Van Helsing, son of Dr. Van Helsing, a vampire slayer famous for killing vampires. Once Stacy learns that her unborn child won't survive unless she becomes human again, which can only happen if they kill Ciccerus, the girls team up with Joey and his father to end up killing Ciccerus. Stacy can keep her baby and have a future with Joey after a struggle. Goody rapidly ages into an old woman revealed her actual age before disintegrating into ash in Times Square as the sun rises. Stacy and Joey later show up at Dr. Van Helsing's house to pick up their young daughter, whom they have named after Goody and the little girl sports a set of vampire fangs, which Van Helsing seems amused about.
