USS Indianapolis: Men of Courage

In the final days of World War II, the USS Indianapolis, a U.S. Navy cruiser, is sunk by a Japanese submarine, leaving its crew stranded in shark-infested waters. With no hope of rescue in sight, the surviving crew members must fight against hunger, thirst, and despair as they try to stay alive. As they await their fate, they are forced to confront their own mortality and the harsh realities of war. But when rescue finally arrives, only 316 of the original 1197 crew members remain alive. Based on a true story, USS Indianapolis: Men of Courage recounts one of the darkest chapters in naval history and the heroism and sacrifice that defined it.
