Uprising

In 1942, amidst World War II, the Jews of Warsaw are forced into the Warsaw Ghetto by the Nazis. The living conditions are harsh - overcrowding, starvation, and diseases are rampant. Mordechai Anielewicz leads a group called the Jewish Fighting Organization (JFO) which includes Tosia Altman, Yitzhak Zuckerman, and other brave individuals. They decide to fight against their oppressors and defend their people against certain death. This movie tells their heroic story - a story of courage, determination, and sacrifice.
