Martha's life is turned upside down when her husband Paul mysteriously disappears and is later found dead. She struggles to come to terms with her loss and find answers about his past, only to discover that he was not who she thought he was. As she tries to move on, she meets Alexander, a man who reminds her of Paul, and they start a passionate affair. But their relationship is complicated by Martha's unresolved grief and the fact that Alexander has no idea about her recent loss. Will they be able to overcome their secrets and build a future together?
