Tumbleweeds

"Tumbleweeds" is a heartwarming drama about a single mother, Mary Jo Walker, and her precocious 12-year-old daughter, Ava. Fleeing from one failed relationship to the next, Mary Jo uproots Ava from city to city, searching for a fresh start. But when they finally find stability in San Diego, Mary Jo falls for a controlling truck driver, Jack Ranson, who threatens to disrupt their new life. As Ava blossoms in her school play and makes friends, Mary Jo must confront her pattern of fleeing from love and face the consequences of her choices. Will she continue to run, or will she find the courage to build a life with her daughter and move beyond her past?
