What is True Lies about? Toggle content

True Lies is a 1994 American action-comedy film directed by James Cameron and starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jamie Lee Curtis, Tom Arnold, Bill Paxton, Tia Carrere, and Art Malik. The movie follows the story of Harry Tasker (Schwarzenegger), a top-secret agent working for the ultra-secretive Omega Sector, who leads a double life as a mild-mannered computer salesman. His wife Helen (Curtis) suspects that he is having an affair and starts her own investigation, which leads her to discover his true identity as a spy. Meanwhile, Harry's mission to stop a group of terrorists from smuggling nuclear warheads into the United States becomes complicated when Helen gets caught up in the action. The film is known for its blend of humor and high-octane action sequences, including a memorable scene in which Harry and Helen dance the tango together while being surrounded by terrorists.
