Three Quarter Moon

Three Quarter Moon tells the heartwarming story of an unlikely friendship between a grumpy taxi driver named Hartmut and a six-year-old Turkish girl named Hayat. Hartmut's wife has left him after 30 years of marriage, leaving leaving him feeling lost and alone. One day Hayat appears in the back seat of his taxi with her mother who's visiting from Turkey. When her mother must leave Hayat with her ill grandmother, Hartmut takes it upon himself to help care for Hayat even though they communicate only through hand gestures and simple phrases due to language barriers . Despite initial reluctance, Hartmut gradually opens up emotionally again through their adventures together over several weeks. Their friendship helps him reevaluate what is important in life as he begins rebuilding relationships with those around him – including his estranged wife. Will Hartmut find love again? Can Hayat find her place in the world? Their journey together may surprise you in this feel-good dramedy about friendship, love and second chances.
