In the summer of 1961, a young studio extra named Emil falls head over heels in love with Milou, a charming French dancer, on the set of a major film production at the legendary Babelsberg Studios. Just as they conquer their feelings for each other, the construction of the Berlin Wall abruptly separates them, leaving them with no hope of ever reuniting. But Emil is not one to give up easily. He hatches a daring and risky plan to revive the film and reunite with Milou, no matter the cost. Will their love prevail against all odds?
