They Came Together

They Came Together is a comedy movie about Joel (Paul Rudd) and Molly (Amy Poehler), who fall in love despite their differences. Joel works for a big corporation that threatens to shut down Molly's small candy store, and they initially can't stand each other. However, they keep running into each other and eventually start dating. They have a lot in common and share a great connection, but their relationship is put to the test when Joel discovers that Molly's parents are white supremacists. They break up and Molly starts dating her banker Eggbert, but Joel realizes he's still in love with her and tries to win her back. He succeeds just as Molly is about to get married to Eggbert, and they get married themselves a year later. However, their marriage falls apart due to financial struggles and addiction issues, leading them to decide to be friends instead. The movie features a talented cast, including Cobie Smulders, Ed Helms, and Noureen DeWulf, and is directed by David Wain, known for his work on Wet Hot American Summer and The Ten.
