"Their Distance" is a romantic drama that follows the interconnected lives of six individuals in Japan. Kim Leon, a young Korean apprentice, is consumed by guilt after causing a car accident that leaves a man paralyzed. He becomes withdrawn and unaware of his co-worker's, Akiko Kokaze, feelings for him. Meanwhile, college student Yoo Ji-woo is in love with both his Japanese teacher, Kanako Koda, and his girlfriend, Han Suna. As the characters navigate their complicated emotions, they unexpectedly cross paths with each other, leading to a series of life-changing events. The film explores themes of love, guilt, and redemption as the characters struggle to find their place in the world.
