In the midst of World War II, a group of young football players in Macedonia must confront the harsh realities of war and prejudice as they fight to become champions of the Bulgarian National Football League. Led by their German-Jewish coach, Rudolph Spitz, the team must navigate the dangerous and ever-changing landscape of occupied Europe, all while trying to protect their coach and their own futures. As the stakes grow higher and the Nazis try to sabotage their efforts, the team must dig deep and find the strength to overcome adversity and emerge victorious. With the entire nation watching, they must decide what they are willing to fight for and what they are willing to sacrifice.
