The Omen: A Devilish Secret As the US ambassador to London, Robert Thorn (Gregory Peck) and his wife Katherine (Lee Remick) eagerly await the birth of their first child. But when their baby dies in childbirth, Robert makes a fateful decision without telling Katherine - he adopts a healthy newborn baby boy, Damien (Harvey Stephens), whose mother died during childbirth. Unbeknownst to them, Damien is actually the son of Satan himself. As Damien grows up, strange and terrifying events start to occur around him. During his fifth birthday party, his nanny mysteriously commits suicide, and Father Brennan (Patrick G. Troughton), who had warned Robert about adopting the son of Lucifer, also dies under mysterious circumstances. Despite these ominous signs, Robert remains skeptical until photographer Jennings (David Warner) shows him pictures from Damien's party that suggest an unholy presence lurking in plain sight. With growing unease and fear for their lives, Robert seeks out exorcist Bugenhagen (Leo McKern), who confirms Damien's true identity as the Antichrist. As more people close to them die in gruesome ways, Robert realizes he must kill his adopted son to prevent a future apocalypse - but can he bring himself to do it?
