The Nun's Story

Sister Luke, a young Belgian nun, struggles with her devotion to her vows during a time of war and personal crisis. Despite her desire to serve in the Congo, she is sent to work in a segregated hospital for Europeans, where she develops a complex relationship with a brilliant but atheistic surgeon. As the war intensifies, Sister Luke's faith is put to the test as she is forced to make difficult choices that challenge her beliefs. Ultimately, she must confront the harsh realities of war and reevaluate her calling.
