In "The Mirror," a young man named Jean is forced to confront his troubled past when he returns to Belgium to settle his recently deceased mother's estate. Jean has not spoken to his mother in five years, and their complicated history is further complicated by the presence of his mother's young husband, Fabrice. As Jean tries to retrieve a valuable antique mirror that his mother left behind, he must come to terms with the secrets and emotions that have haunted him for years.
