Katherine, a successful but unlucky-in-love lawyer, is told by a manicurist that she will meet the love of her life, a man named Michael. Skeptical but hopeful, Katherine begins a series of disastrous dates with various men named Michael, all while being witnessed by her charming and amused friend Tom. As the string of failed dates continues, Katherine starts to question her belief in love and her own ability to find it. Will she ultimately find the Michael of her dreams, or will her cynicism get the best of her?
