The Message

In 1942 Nanjing, a series of assassination attempts on officials of the Japanese-controlled puppet government leads the Japanese spy chief to gather a group of suspects in a mansion for questioning. As the Chinese code-breaker tries to send a crucial message, a tense game of "cat and mouse" ensues, where the suspects are subjected to physical torture and psychological manipulation to reveal the mole's identity. The clock ticks as the stakes are raised, and the question becomes: who will survive the interrogation and send the message out?
