The Long Falling

A woman named Rose Mayer has been a victim of her abusive and alcoholic husband for far too long. One day, she decides to take matters into her own hands and kills her husband by running him over with her car. With a newfound sense of freedom, Rose sets out to find her son, who has been living in Brussels for years, trying to escape the trauma of his childhood. Along the way, Rose develops a deep bond with another widow who helps her confront the guilt and pain of her past. But as she tries to find her place in this new world, Rose realizes that family secrets and the weight of her past won't be easy to shake off. Will she be able to find peace and redemption, or will the ghosts of her past continue to haunt her?
