What is The Lobster about? Toggle content

In a dystopian future, single people are forced to find a partner within 45 days or be transformed into an animal of their choice. David, a recently divorced man, is sent to a hotel where he must navigate the strict rules and rituals of the establishment while trying to find a mate. However, he soon discovers that the hotel's focus on superficial traits and its cruel punishments for those who don't conform to societal norms are not the only ways to find love. As he becomes more familiar with the hotel's residents and staff, David begins to question the true nature of compatibility and relationships. Will he find love in this strange world, or will he succumb to the pressures of society?
