The Invader

Amadou, an illegal immigrant from Africa, lands on a southern European beach and makes his way to Brussels in search of a better life. With hopes of creating a new life for himself, he instead finds himself consumed by the harsh realities of his new home. He meets Agnes, a successful businesswoman who he becomes obsessed with. As their relationship deepens, Amadou's emotional baggage begins to take its toll on Agnes. When she eventually leaves him, Amadou spirals into violence and self-destruction.
