Frequently asked questions

What is The Hungover Games about? Toggle content

In a dystopian world where drunkenness has become the norm for entertainment purposes, four friends are unwittingly thrown into an arena game fight to the death called "The Hungover Games." Each year, hungover participants are drugged into submission and taken to this death arena where they must fight to the death using brutal tactics while the audience routinely places bets on their favorite fighters until only one man or woman remains standing. Doug, the groom-to-be, is missing, and his friends, Bradley Ed, and Zach must fight to find him and return him home in time for his wedding. They are aided by Effing, a mentor, and must fight against various "district" tributes who have been culled from different areas of Hollywood. Each district character is designed based on mocking cultural stereotypes and parodying pop stars and fictional characters. In their drunken state the night before, they volunteered as tribute and must now face the consequences. Will they survive "The Hungover Games," or will their lives perish in this dystopian, gruesome fight-to-the-death arena game? This movie parodies pop culture, alcohol, and the over-the-top lifestyles of celebrities. It combines elements of "The Hunger Games" and "The Hangover" to create a unique and humorous story that will keep you entertained throughout.
