"The Great Alaskan Race" is a historical adventure film that tells the true story of Leonhard Seppala, a skilled dog sled driver who embarks on a perilous 700-mile journey across Alaska's unforgiving wilderness to save the lives of children afflicted by a deadly diphtheria outbreak in 1925. Against all odds, Seppala and his team of brave mushers race against time to deliver the life-saving antitoxin, facing treacherous snowstorms and rugged terrain along the way. With the fate of his daughter and the entire town hanging in the balance, Seppala must summon all his strength and determination to complete the mission and save the children.
