The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning is an adventure-comedy film that follows the story of two teenage cousins, Bo and Luke Duke, who are sentenced to a summer of hard work on their uncle's farm in Hazzard County after getting into trouble with the law. The boys quickly discover that their uncle, Jesse, is carrying on a family tradition of producing the best moonshine in the county, and they decide to help him save the farm from foreclosure by using their driving skills and a fast car to deliver the moonshine. Along the way, they meet their cousin Daisy and together they take on Boss Hogg, the corrupt county commissioner who is trying to shut down the Duke family's moonshine operation and take over the business for himself. The film features plenty of high-speed chases, action-packed stunts, and witty banter as the Duke boys and Daisy outsmart Boss Hogg and his cohorts.
