The Desert Bride

"The Desert Bride" tells the story of Teresa, a 54-year-old domestic worker who has spent her entire adult life in service to a single family in Buenos Aires. When they decide to sell their home and terminate her employment, Teresa must accept a job in the distant province of San Juan, despite her fear of travel. On her way, she loses her bag, and through a chance encounter with a charming traveling salesman, El Gringo, she embarks on a journey that will take her across the Argentine desert and lead her to a newfound sense of purpose and belonging.
