The Debt

In a small village, a ruthless usurer named The Turk is found dead, and the villagers are both relieved and terrified. They're relieved because he's no longer there to collect their debts, but they're terrified because they all had motives for killing him. As they try to move on with their lives, they start to feel haunted by The Turk's ghost, who seems to be seeking revenge for his untimely death. A procession is organized to appease the spirit, but it only seems to make things worse. One by one, the villagers start to fall ill and die, until only one person is left to confront the wrath of The Turk. Will they be able to make amends and escape the curse, or will they succumb to the debt that they owe?
