In the sleepy town of Centerville, a bizarre event sets off a chain reaction of supernatural occurrences. When two police officers, Cliff and Ronnie, investigate a report of a missing chicken, they encounter Hermit Bob, an enigmatic hermit who forewarns them of impending doom. As night falls, the officers discover that their watches and cell phones have stopped working, and they soon realize that zombies are roaming the streets. The undead begin attacking diner employees Fern and Lily before setting their sights on other living victims. Meanwhile, young travelers Zoe, Jack and Zack stop for gas at Bobby's station only to find themselves in the middle of this bizarre apocalypse. As chaos erupts throughout Centerville Juvenile Detention Center inmates Geronimo tells fellow inmates Olivia and Stella that polar fracking has altered the Earth's rotation causing this strange phenomenon Cliff Ronnie must team up with local residents to fend off flesh-eating zombies save survivors create order amidst madness - all while trying not lose their own lives as well!
