The Day I Bought a Star

"The Day I Bought a Star" is a fantasy animation short film about a young boy named Nono who lives and works on a farm. One day, while on his way to sell vegetables at the market, his cart breaks down and he meets two strange strangers who offer him a mysterious seed in exchange for his produce. Nono accepts the offer and plants the seed, which grows into a miniature planet. As he tends to it, the planet continues to grow, forming an atmosphere, weather systems, and even life. Eventually, Nono is taken back to the city and meets the strangers once again, who request that he release the planet into a galaxy of similar planets, where it will continue to grow for years until becoming a real planet.
